Shoe designers are in love with ankles this Christmas. Yes, boots or bootees are back, along with ankle-high platforms and designs for the woman who wants to feel and look sexy with a twist.

There are many variations to the shoe trend in stores and customers may choose from closed-toe to peep-toe, cut-out sides and even studs and other embellishments which jazz shoes up. And don't even mention the heels, wicked killer heels (of course, in a good way), ranging from stiletto to chunky, wedge and platform.

Flair visited Sammy's Shoe Store, Shop 8, Premier Plaza, and Alexxya, located at Shop 3, Mall Plaza, to check them out. Not being selfish, we decided to share with you samples of some of these eye-catching and oh-so-trendy shoes.

PS: Give some love to your feet this Christmas by accentuating those ankles and legs.
