WESTERN BUREAU:

FAIR PROSPECT made it two wins from two starts yesterday as they defeated Port Antonio 3-0 in the ISSA/Pepsi/JN daCosta Cup.

Roger Wilson, who scored five times in Fair Prospect's first game against debutants Paul Bogle High School, was again on target, scoring two of their three goals. Fair Prospect now have a total 11 goals in their two outings with Wilson leading the way with seven.

Happy Grove, who registered a 1-0 win over St. Thomas in their first game, joined Fair Prospect atop the zone standings on six points with a 2-0 win over Yallahs, who suffered their second defeat of the season after their first game 3-1 loss to Titchfield.

Rough baptism

Newcomers Paul Bogle, who got a rough 8-0 baptism from Fair Prospect on Tuesday, fared better yesterday, going down 3-0 to St. Thomas Technical.

Striker Michael Clarke scored two of the three goals for the St. Thomas Technical team which garnered its first points of the competition. Titchfield, who started their campaign with a 3-1 win against Yallahs, had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Seaforth, who were also collecting their first points of the season.
