THE EDITOR, Sir:

I wish that the Prime Minister would speak out decisively and unequivocally in condemning Hezbollah's aggression against Israel. I do not appreciate Jamaica's continued reiteration of this little "wishy washy" suggestion that "Israel has a right to exist".

It is time for the Prime Minister to speak firmly to the nations of the world affirming our solidarity with Israel against every act of aggression - anti-semitic or otherwise. Let the other nations of the world know that the Jews are the "chosen people of God" Exodus 19:6 pro-mised that God will create a holy nation dedicated to Him.

The Jews are blessed by God and throughout history Jewish ethnicity and Jewish religion have remained inseparable.

Presently Israel's right to exist is threatened by a Hezbollah supported by others who themselves hate Israel and are trying to destroy her. The threat to this holy nation is forcing her to use all the military measures necessary to defend and to preserve her existence as the elect of God.
