EIGHT TEAMS will leave the Leila Robinson courts defeated when they lose in the Business House Netball Association's Courts Consolation Knock-Out competition today.

The victorious eight will advance to the quarter-final round on Saturday.

Last year's winners National Commercial Bank 'B' have already been evicted. Cable & Wireless were runners-up. This year, the telephone company has two teams, one of which was also knocked out.

The company's remaining representative, Cable & Wireless 'A', which placed second in their group in the first round of the Open League with 12 points, are still holding their own. They play Jamaica Public Service today. The light and power company's team was third in Group D with nine points, 66 goals against and 78 for.

Jamaica Urban Transit Corporation, who beat the Statistical Institute of Jamaica 17-14 on Saturday, will face Wisynco at 5:45.

After the weekend's match, centre player Anna Kay Christian told The Gleaner the team had failed to make some shots and made some bad passes. The team is expected to improve on these weaknesses in today's game.
